Skymotion is a full-service aerial cinematography company based in the Netherlands with more than 15 years of experience in the film industry. We specialise in filming with moving camera platforms — helicopters, drones, fixed-wing aircraft — and we operate from a cinema perspective, not an aviation one.
How we got here
Skymotion grew out of the cinema-rig and helicopter world. Long before "drone operator" was a job title, we were rigging cameras on Cinestars and helicopters for Dutch and international productions. Our pilots are cinematographers first; our cinematographers are pilots second.
Where we work
Skymotion is based in the Netherlands but operates across Europe. We hold EU Specific category authorisation and Enhanced Containment certification. Read more on Rules of the Air →
