Skymotion has been in the air since 2009. Day or night, on-location anywhere in Europe, full crew, full insurance.
We are not a drone company. We are camera operators who happen to fly. Every rig in our hangar exists to solve a shot the director already has in their head.

What productions ask us before they book a drone pilot.
What does a Skymotion drone pilot do on set?
We supply the complete aerial unit: drone pilot, camera operator, spotters and, where needed, an RT operator and permits coordinator. From a single Inspire 3 to a heavy-lift drone carrying an ARRI Alexa, RED or Sony Venice.
Can you fly in the city or near Schiphol?
Yes, with the right authorisation. Skymotion holds an EU Specific Category authorisation from the Dutch ILT and regularly flies in controlled airspace (CTR) around Schiphol, Rotterdam and military airfields, in radio contact with air traffic control. Flying over crowds is almost never permitted.

Do you arrange the permits?
Yes. Depending on the location we arrange ILT authorisation, TUG exemptions, notifications to air traffic control and agreements with the municipality or landowner. Skymotion always flies fully insured.

DJI Inspire 3 with the Zenmuse X9-8K Air (8K ProRes RAW, DL primes 18–90 mm), Freefly Alta X heavy-lift for ARRI Alexa Mini LF, RED and Sony Venice, FPV cinelifters and cinewhoops, 360° drones and drone-mounted LED lighting.

Can you fly FPV indoors?
Yes. With cinewhoops we fly inside and through buildings, also as a continuous one-take FPV tour.

Yes. Skymotion is based in the Netherlands and works across Europe and worldwide.

Send the location, the schedule and the shot to [email protected], or call or WhatsApp +31 6 30 54 30 51. We come back with a plan that fits your shoot. Flights in a CTR need a flight plan 24–48 hours in advance, so the earlier the better.
